ORIGINAL: thishereboi No that is not what I am saying. I am saying that to claim if they don't like it, they should leave is unreasonable considering the employment situation in the area. And it was as bad as he thought it would be because he was used to manage a whole shop and now he is a flunky in the automotive department. But like I said before, he really has no choice at this point. So he deals with it. Ok, so no labor laws were broken, he is just used to being the boss and now he is someone he used to boss around. It sounds like he is mostly just unhappy for not getting the type of job he feels he is worthy of. I would guess most people that have been unemployed are in the same boat, no matter what company they work for. It is easier to get a job when you have one, so cuz he doesnt like his job, is he still sending out his resume and looking for a job elsewhere? Or is he just gonna stay where he is and be bitter and whine to anyone he meets? But then, who wants to hire a whiner... maybe that was a factor in him not getting a job for a year until Walmart? Btw, this economy has hit a lot of people like your ex-manager, it hit me too, worse than him, btw. But I dont bitch about what I have been thru nor will I cuz I am not that type of person. I dont look behind, i look ahead. Its still not easy for me now but dam it, at least I am gonna try and try and try. No one is gonna do it for you.
