I have been wondering the same thing about age for quite a while. My son is gay and one of my best friends is gay. The friend is nearly 10 years older than me and he and my son got together shortly after my son turned 22. They are still together, sort of, though it is in no way monogamous. I think the age difference bothers both of them more than it bothers me because I would love to just see them both happy and if that's together, oh well.

Me, on the other hand? I'd have trouble even playing with somebody my son's age.

Like to see (hear) your opinion about this. It just crossed my mind reading this article.

I don't have any "acceptable age difference" limit. What's acceptable to me is whatever makes them happy. My best friend right now is in a relationship with a guy 18 years her senior and it's working pretty fucking fantastically :)

A much older dominant man (I'm 49)  might work but it did when I tried it worry me because I want someone to be with in 20 years not who will be dead then.  Secondly male erectile dysfunction does increase with age.
On the other hand as others have said someone much younger (the man who made me feel most submissive was 11 years younger when I was about 40) is unlikely to have a lot in common with you and for men and women the baby issue is very relevant. If you're an older man with a  wife under 40 and your children are grown up you've going to have to accept fatherhood all over again. I adore having children. I always tell younger men to find someone their age and have a lot of babies with them.

There is 31 years between my Dom and me (I'm 18).  I know that's not for everyone, but we have a great relationship, and to me his character, and the person he is, is far more important than the number attached to him.
