ha! that pulled you in didn't it? sorry, but it was just a fucking ruse to get you to read a really boring thread about a really dumb-assed question. when i shower i wash my hair first, on the rationale that when i rinse my hair the dirty soap/water runs down my body, so i need to wash it afterward. heather does the opposite, she washes her hair last. she says she has no reason why, its just the fucking way she has always done it, when she was little her mother washed her hair last, so she does it that way. just so the title isn't a total fucking lie: when we shower together she washes my hair, then the rest of me, then i wash her, then her hair. how do you do it? hair first, last, somewhere in the middle, or totally fucking random?

hair first, body second -- basically for the same reason you explained. i'll wash my hair, throw in tons of conditioner if it's a conditioning day, start soaping up, and then rinse it all off, starting at the noggin and working my way down. .

I also start at the top and work down. Hair, face, body. I've always done it that way. But I did read an article that told me it makes sense. It said that many hair products, like conditioners, can cause acne in areas prone, like the back, if not washed off. So I figure if I don't want zits on my ass, my method is A-okay.

I wash it first because it takes the most time in all the shower stuff. Never considered it so dirty that it would contaminate the rest of me.

Hair gets shampooed first, then I put on the conditioner and let it do its thing while I scrub everywhere else. I guess it's a throw back from when I had to be at work at the asscrack of dawn and had to time crunch every second of the morning prep.

What little hair I have doesn't get conditioned so it's totally fucking randon.

walking into shower, looking on the list that hanged on the mirror for to long that the ink itself dissloveved, doing whats on the list in that order: 1- shaving down there, 2- shaving armbits, 3- doing my body, 4- shaving my face, 5- doing my hair which is the hardest part, alot of conditionoers in this hot dry weather, its not a bath....... its freeking shaving party,

I'm a top to bottom girl myself, but I also use some hair conditioner on my body before the final rinse. I've never had an acne problem (whew!) and my skin seems to love being pampered this way.

i've used conditioner to shave with; it is pretty nice. perhaps i'll try this all over approach. =) i imagine the final rinse is what helps you avoid the acne problem; if you don't rinse it off, it CAN lead to it, but it doesn't with every person.

In the hot & sweaty summer months, I can't stand any kind of moisturing-type substance on my skin, so I make sure I don't buy shower gel/wash that has any kind of boasting about moisturing on the label, like "contains cocoa butter", etc. Those are fine for winter, but in the summer, I use the citrusy or herbally or florally ones with no moisturizers. Anybody else have that kind of preference?

Okay... I am a little miffed at having been baited in... but now I am imagining the both of you in the shower - so there! (yeah... I know what my next masturbatory fantasty will be [:)]) As to the question: Of course you start at the top and work your way down... except for the ass crack and sphincter which I save for last, and for which I use a different bar of soap (I'll be damned if I'm going to have anything thats been on my ass crack anywhere near my face [:'(]).

Like for example, i use pond's dry skin cream in the winter, along with coco butter and cold cream soap that i make myself. I can't stand coco butter in the summer. i've destroyed clothes because of using it in the summer. i only use dove bar soap and cetaphil moisturizer. i need nothing else.

i have some dove visiblecare super moisturizing stuff that i got while winter was lingering here, but now that it's officially FINALLY warming up, i have some handmade bar soap that i use; it has light moisturizers but also gives me a super squeaky clean feeling. then i either use a small amount of lotion or coconut oil since it soaks in almost immediately and doesn't make me feel sticky. i need to get a new thingie of shea butter, but that's mostly a winter weapon, too. at least for skin. hair is another story. =p
