I'm very very new to this lifestyle. Can anyone recommend any good websites? Is this the best one for meeting someone?

I think it's really going to depend on your definition of "best".

If you're specifically looking for a person, there are certain search features on this site that aren't available on others. 

If you're looking for groups, events, etc, I would probably have to go with Fet. 

For friends, I'd have to say they are about equal.

Hi.

Collarme is a fantastic site for advice, chitchat, and meeting people but sure there's other sites too like alt, bdsm personals, facebook, craigslist, goddessclub, slaveregister, etc. Depends what your looking for and where your situated.

CM is best for searching and meeting. 

Fetlife is great for networking socially.
