i have a friend that wishes to chat here on her p/c and uses mirc to chat everywhere else. When she tries to connect here, it just says connection refused, nothing more. Is there anything she can do to actually chat here?

She needs to sign in through the site the first time and register her nick. To register a nickname, type /register <password> <email address> and replace <password> and <email address> with the password and email address you choose. You MUST use a valid email. After she goes and verifies her email address on the validation email she gets(don't forget to check the spam filter), she can then sign on through mirc. For server information, the address is chat.collarme.com and the port number is 6667. In the server information box is another box where there is a place for a password. She needs to enter her password she selected in that box and click ok to update, then she can connect.
