ORIGINAL: juliaoceania In my world, if you make claims like that without releasing the source of those claims, people laugh at you... but in your world someone can claim any damn thing and you think that it is up to us to prove him wrong.. Wow, you have some twisted logic there. the world of scientific review is much different with different requirements than people functioning as news providers. nothing twisted about it Let me tell you something that you learn in journalism school... if you make a mistake you are supposed to print a retraction. Has Alex Jones ever retracted one fucking thing? He makes "mistakes" (and I say that generously) often, yet never retracts ANYTHING. Even the NY Times retracts stuff. Another thing you learn in Journalism School is that you have anonymous sources and official sources. If your sources are official, or they are in grey papers, you are supposed to reference those... In other words, if he has papers from the government, why hasn't he published those? Greg Palast, for example, will put up original documents in his reports... he will post them, which is what good investigative journalists do. Alex Jones is not a journalist.
