What I am saying is that he isn't accurate about what he says the stories in the media report, how can you trust his interpretation of any documents at his disposal?

As with anything I would prefer first hand account.   But that goes for all the pundits.

notice how much of the news is cut and paste- same release.   now even facts dont matter.   MSM has been wrong many times and continue to get it wrong.   MSM is a hypnosis vehicle.  Even my 77 year old neighbor can see that.   The graphics- tones, and "suggestions".... what is a suggestion?    hypnosis.

juliaoceania -> RE: Alex Jones Creates Hysteria Amongst His Readers/Listeners (6/23/2011 9:46:13 AM)

No, you would not prefer the firsthand account, otherwise you wouldn't start your day with Prison Planet and Info Wars[8|]. And you wouldn't post links to that garbage and force us to backtrack so we could tell you prison planet is WRONG yet again

pahunkboy -> RE: Alex Jones Creates Hysteria Amongst His Readers/Listeners (6/23/2011 10:05:50 AM)

So you have to be spoon fed?

I think you know the answer to this one.

juliaoceania -> RE: Alex Jones Creates Hysteria Amongst His Readers/Listeners (6/23/2011 10:10:26 AM)

You are spoon fed, by a liar and a deceiver, whom you never check to see if he isn't lying or deceiving you. We have to tell you almost every single time

What is the topic of this thread?     The point escapes me.

I am not surprised.

pahunkboy -> RE: Alex Jones Creates Hysteria Amongst His Readers/Listeners (6/23/2011 10:18:19 AM)

Ok-  so you analyzed him 8 years ago.

Are you the same person you were 8 years ago?  people evolve.     Alex does go for the panic thing.  I will give you that.

I wont concede tho- that there is an elite that attempts to rule our life.   Where Alex falls short is he does not really offer solutions.   Ok- so things are a wreck- now what?  get really mad?  real afraid?  now what.

On his rant on plastics.. will I be so quick to microwave a plastic thing?   No.

tazzygirl -> RE: Alex Jones Creates Hysteria Amongst His Readers/Listeners (6/23/2011 10:25:23 AM)

You cannot educate someone who is either really mad or in a deep panic.

juliaoceania -> RE: Alex Jones Creates Hysteria Amongst His Readers/Listeners (6/23/2011 10:38:30 AM)

Every post you make that references him confirms my analysis from 8 years ago, he is still open for business, he is still making money by scaring his audience.

That was brilliant. Thank you. Unfortunately, those who need to watch it won't.

He's doubly dangerous because he gurus the people who are too feeble-minded to even rushfelch.

But, there cant be very many of those.

They are on every political site I have ever contributed, and these are not the same people on the different sites. They are on right wing sites, left wing sites, moderate sites, independent sites, chatrooms, forums, blogging, and commenting...

There are enough of them to make Alex Jones a very wealthy person.

~Fast Reply~
I only know two things about Alex Jones. He likes to talk about--and interview--Ron Paul, and he panders to truthers. Ron Paul isn't a truther, but he's passionately vocal about the evils of statism, so he appeals to that crowd. Politics sometimes makes strange bedfellows, but I think that this association harms his chances of being taken seriously by the MSM.

hmm.  I never noticed that.  Most people have never heard of him.   So what if he makes money- isn't that why people work?

besides no one is forced to financially support him.

I suppose it is hard work to instill fear with lies in the public.

What do you think the war on terror is?

Making money isn't wrong, making money by scaring people to drive up your audience, I think that is slimy. The mainstream media does this too, but they are held accountable when they fabricate stories.

He isn't credible, Hunky, he is a snake oil salesman at the very least.

And most people who are on the internet longer than it takes to check their email, read a few articles, no... they haven't heard of him. Most people I know in the real world have... we are talking people who have a fairly sophisticated knowledge of internet memes, etc....

tazzygirl -> RE: Alex Jones Creates Hysteria Amongst His Readers/Listeners (6/23/2011 10:57:28 AM)

A war on terror.

I am not in Alex' demographic. I can think for myself. I can reason out the details in his articles. I investigate a source as far as I can and come to my own conclusions.

To date, I have not seen a single article from the man that hasnt contained at least 50% lies.

I firmly believe that the 1st Amendment protects Alex Jones' free speech, but I think that he is a terrorist in that he spreads lies and disinfo to move people into paranoia.
