MistressWolfen -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/16/2006 5:29:57 PM)

My signature line is a quotation from Miyamato Musashi; a 17th century Japanese samurai, warrior, undefeated swordsman and writer. I chose this quotation as my motto in both the martial arts I practise and in this lifestyle. I believe it is self explanatory.

tade -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/16/2006 5:58:50 PM)

Just being underneath a woman that quotes Miyamato Musashi gets me all tingly downstairs...lol

Mine changes from time to time (not very often it seems looking back but still). Just something I made up that I thought sounded cool. Damn I need better stories. Nevermind what I said before. There was this bull staring me down in Madrid. Big mean looking fucker to. So anyway.........

*winks at tade whilst picking me teeth with a dirk* I do very much enjoy Mushai's writing, applicable lessons to all of life.

HarryVanWinkle -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/16/2006 10:53:39 PM)

Here's one I've seen a lot.

quote:

"Lets roleplay, I'll get the D20s"

What the hell are D20s?

LadyMedhbh -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/17/2006 3:54:07 AM)

Medhbh is a Goddess and is also known as Queen of Connaught (Irish).  The book The Witch's Goddess, by Janet & Stewart Farrar states the following about Her:

"She could outrun any horse , and the sight of her deprived men of two-thirds of their strength."

My given name is the name of two Goddess's (given to Me at birth by My Mother).

because sex is something that is meant to be enjoyed and shared with many

RavenMuse -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/17/2006 4:23:08 AM)

When read on their own, the Bards words are pretty self explanitory and stand as good advice to anyone at any stage in their life.

When in context of the net, where all too many put on an act and behave entirely diffrently from the safety of their keyboard than they would face to face, it picks up added relevance.

Then here in particular, where there are so many wannabe's and game players that it is oft difficult to spot the genuine and honest folks.... I thought it particularly apt!

talibahh -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/17/2006 4:39:05 AM)

i wanted mine to have significant meaning for both myself and He who i am under consideration with, and to also reflect where i am in my journey at this time.

For me, i have a slave heart that runs deeply and comes naturally to me. i believe that in giving my Master all of me, completely, giving up all my freedoms to be totally Owned and His, then in doing this, i will gain the freedom to be me and all that my true inner self is... a slave at heart (and slut too [;)][:D])...

i believe that in vanilla life, as a free person, i was never really free to be who or what i really am at heart, but in some ways, supressed to reform to societies expectations and restrictions... in giving up my freedom i gain the true freedom to be all that i truely am...

(hmm... hope this makes sense[&:])

rivenmoon -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/17/2006 4:44:37 AM)

This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
                                                            -William Shakespeare

So true Raven,
I quote Shakespeares first line from the above on my profile.
-------------------------------------------------------------

'If you can't be yourself' is my little view
and the second is a catch-phrase for the product TWISTies (a kinky twisted kinda cheese snack) [:)]

TolerableCruelty -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/17/2006 6:28:04 AM)

Mine just rings true.... for those that truly know a person intimately, never need an explanation for actions or words... though I am thinking about hijacking Cerckl's.... heh

Emperor1956 -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/17/2006 8:21:10 AM)

Its a quote from a favorite song by Marc Coen (yes, the "Walkin' in Memphis" guy).  The song is called "Silver Thunderbird".  But it will change.  All things do.

michaelGA2 -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/17/2006 8:33:55 AM)

mine is a phrase i've used for years in the rela world, it started on a boringly slow day at work and kinda stuck with me. it's also an age-old question that doesn't seem to have a definitive answer to.

so tell me...are we?[:D]

Aileen68 -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/17/2006 1:17:51 PM)

spectreandnectre -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/26/2006 7:50:40 AM)

DragonDiver -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/26/2006 8:05:12 AM)

My Name is because my spirit animal is a Dragon and I am a Master Scuba Instructor so ergo DragonDiver. I am also called Dragon~Lord a pen name for some of my muses on the lifestyle, it is not an honorific as the Lord is last not first, I explain it as the title of a favorite book that resonants within me, also it had a favorite quote "What colour is a Dragon my son" "Crimson Master, Bloody Crimson, no matter what doth the eye say!" that was my tag line for many years but my most recent is a quote of my own: "Mastery begins, where the ego ends!" nuff said I think.

akisha -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/26/2006 8:14:50 AM)

BBBTBW -> RE: What does your signature/tag line mean? (5/26/2006 8:15:36 AM)

Mine is descriptive of myself.  It was suggested by a submissive several years ago and continue to use it to this day:

Big
Beautiful
BODACIOUS
Tall
Black
