By the way, you might want to reconsider changing your avatar. It is a well known avatar by one of the demi-gods of these boards and may lead to confusion (assuming you are not Ron playing with our heads via a sock puppet). I'm not saying you can't use that one, just that you might want to reconsider. Around here Ron is kind of like Dumbledore (Well... a spaced out, perverted version of Dumbledore).

Plus, some of these are atheist "religions," and often go hand in hand with others (Taoist/Buddhist, for example).

I used "other" since I am mostly somewhere between agnostic and atheist. I don't believe in magic, reincarnation, or an afterlife, but there are some things that science and evolution...at least so far...has not been able to explain to my satisfaction.

I dont do religion, but I have a spirituality which cannot be defined by the regular run of the mill organisations and that because it is my belief that this truth we are all searching for has been scattered across the world and there resides somewhere in the belief of all people everywhere, even the atheists, agnostics and satanists and any other fringe movement.

In saying that, the truth is in ourselves as we create the beliefs to seek what we need to know.

Perhaps if we ditched religion and looked into ourselves, we would be closer to the truth, as it is in us, not outside of us.
