Yeah yeah yeah..I know the numbers but lemme tell ya what-It's easier for a real male dominant to find a slave here than the other way around...and further, it's generally been my experience that things work that way in RL munches, meets, dungeons etc... Out of those 15/16 males in that M/F ratio (And how one comes up with any real numbers on an anonymous site full of liars is just beyond me), 13-14 are gonna be losers, wankers, HNG's and flat out sociopathic cretins. If a guy is real, doesn't act like a complete waste of skin, has some basic decency, showers, maintains decent hygiene and doesn't weigh 2 tons or look like the Elephant man, he's gotta pretty good shot. There ain't a ton of single guys complaining about not being able to meet women but I have lots of female friends who constantly complain that they can't meet a decent man for shitand that's in NillaLand. It's that suddenly we're power hungry bit that gets me. Like otherwise we'd be desperate? Most women worth being with would rather be alone than lonely with someone else. You want to beat the odds? i have to agree with Kana, really. the online world may have this weird imbalance but that's only because everyone's essentially thrown together. in the real world, you hang around the places where you're likely NOT to meet the type of people you aren't interested in. you don't really have that option online. i don't really see the same imbalance in person; it seems to be more difficult for single female submissives than it is for male Doms.

Thanks for the link, Firm. It was an interesting read. While I agree with you that the numbers won't matter if you do make a connection with someone, I look at this from the perspective of the attempt to make the connection. You can't really put the cart before the horse on the matter. Even in your own case, you found Treasure. That wasn't the only communication you made here though if you were sending out emails before you actually found her. A very part of the numbers game is exactly what you mentioned in your original. There is just plain a lot of crap on the internet and anybody wants to be seen as, well, not the crap. LOL.
