And lets not forget those 23 foster kids she "raised". How much did she make for doing that? The Bachmann family has done nothing but live off the system she now wants to gut.

Mind you, I'm all for people taking in foster kids, and clinics accepting medicaid patients--far too many of them don't. It is the hypocrisy Bachmann spouts that I can't stand.

Two went to the store and I think the other one is taking a nap. Why, did you want to check them for head scars?

My friend had foster kids and she barely got enough to provide the essentials. Anything extra came from her pocket. She didn't care though because the idea was to help the kids. The idea that she was making money off of it is just stupid. So tell me, how many kids have you taken in?

Damnable hypocrisy worth some bandwidth:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43570552/ns/politics-decision_2012/

While Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., has forcefully denounced the Medicaid program for swelling the "welfare rolls," the mental health clinic run by her husband has been collecting annual Medicaid payments totaling over $137,000 for the treatment of patients since 2005, according to new figures obtained by NBC News.

The previously unreported payments are on top of the $24,000 in federal and state funds that Bachmann & Associates, the clinic founded by Marcus Bachmann, a clinical therapist, received in recent years under a state grant to train its employees, state records show. The figures were provided to NBC News in response to a Freedom of Information request.

The clinic, based in Lake Elmo, Minn., describes itself on its website as offering "quality Christian counseling" for a large number of mental health problems ranging from "anger management" to addictions and eating disorders.

The $161,000 in payments from the Minnesota Department of Human Services to her husband's clinic appear to contradict some of Michelle Bachmann's public accounts this week when she was first asked about the extent to which her family has benefited from government aid. Contacted this afternoon, Alice Stewart, a spokeswoman for Bachmann, said the congresswoman was doing campaign events and was not immediately available for comment.

Questions about the Bachmann family's receipt of government funds arose this week after a Los Angeles Times story reported that a family farm in which Michelle Bachmann is a partner had received nearly $260,000 in federal farm subsidies.

Now wait a second Mr. Political Bully... He's probably a guy who performs valuable services like teaching people w/ prostate issues how to piss again.

I haven't heard of any. Do you have a link to show us or is it just more of your random mutterings?

I acquiesce to the master/misstress/WTF ever of random mutterings.

Actually, I would like to know, I'm a tax payer and a registered voter, so it's a fair question to ask. Let me rephrase it so it doesn't fuck with you so much... Any information concerning their success or failure as foster parents? Any complaints lodged for misuse of the funds they received? Any of their foster kids complain of abuse?
Given we all have a choice to make about the moral make-up of a PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, I think it's a whole lot more germane than say, a birth certificate, for instance.
Got any links to provide answers to any of the above? Or is this just another deal where you play throw-down gun and substantiate someone's claims they'll be called racists?

re: the 23 foster kids.... many were for short periods of time.  It's not like those folks that have 13 or so for 10 years or so.

We had 2 foster kids when I was young, and another one for 2 weeks while her foster parents were on vacation.  It was quite the circus - she was in a cast from her hips to her toes, and evidently got a stomach bug just before they dropped her off.  That was a mess and a half!
