I posted a link to this in one of my fet groups and I was amazed at the response. NEARLY every comment was negative. They ranged from "so what?" To, "there is always going to be a jerk", to "this is sexist and hetro-centric". To, "in sites such as these there are women who are actively seeking", ect ect ect. ....you know, if those are the predominant thoughts of a majority I am glad I am opting out of kink. I have gotten a few of those random email socitations from strangers and always found them tacky. I wanted to ask if they thought the gentleman needed to post all possible disclaimers (ie, this is his own opinion, suggestions, ect) in order to make it better but I decided it might be time to drop that group anyway.

I'm not being cruel. That's a legitimate question. [;)] I saw the article as pretty common sense, too, but some folks out there really do need to be told these things. Yes, we really do need to explain to folks how to write an email, that kinky people still have the same relationship issues, etc. The fact that someone has the patience to spell it all out for those who need to be told gets kudos from Me.
