I took the Mr Zeitgeist article as a bit tongue in cheek, because it should be so obvious, after all it's really just common sense, then I looked around at some of the guys postings and remembered my inbox, and yes, common sense just doesn't seem to be all that common...

Perhaps we could recruit them for pointless acts like jumping into industrial shredders shouting out some political message like "Don't order from the value menu", all the while spurring them on with the belief that they'll meet with 29 subs after they are fully digitized. The beauty is that if they're buying it so far, convincing them shredders are like 'people scanners' will be a breeze.

I posted a link to this in one of my fet groups and I was amazed at the response. NEARLY every comment was negative.
They ranged from "so what?" To, "there is always going to be a jerk", to "this is sexist and hetro-centric". To, "in sites such as these there are women who are actively seeking", ect ect ect.

....you know, if those are the predominant thoughts of a majority I am glad I am opting out of kink. I have gotten a few of those random email socitations from strangers and always found them tacky.
I wanted to ask if they thought the gentleman needed to post all possible disclaimers (ie, this is his own opinion, suggestions, ect) in order to make it better but I decided it might be time to drop that group anyway.

Well, when a girl is single its like every guy out there has getting laid on the brain, and that is ok as long as he isnt an offensive jerk and just thinks it rather than says it (no law broken)...
..but none the less, every guy makes me feel like a little tiny helpless mouse being chased by a hord of starving cats...

I'm not being cruel. That's a legitimate question.

I saw the article as pretty common sense, too, but some folks out there really do need to be told these things. Yes, we really do need to explain to folks how to write an email, that kinky people still have the same relationship issues, etc. The fact that someone has the patience to spell it all out for those who need to be told gets kudos from Me.
