Status: offline 		The incredible X-ray that showed how cat named Hope survives being blasted by THIRTY airgun pellets
A cat called Hope has miraculously survived being blasted by around 30 airgun pellets, during a wave of senseless shootings across the UK.
The RSPCA has launched a hunt for the evil shooter and has released X-rays of some of the pellets inside Hope's body.
Hope's owner found her bleeding and near to death in Great Walsingham, Norfolk, and at first it was thought she'd been attacked by a dog because her body was ripped and torn.

Status: offline 		I will never understand why anyone would willfully direct cruelty to any animal - ever. There needs to be harsher penalties for those who abuse animals in any form. I'd say lock them up, but from what I understand the prison system is already overcrowded. So these offenders should do some form of community service or maybe work (without wages) in a veterinarian's office. Something. How can these people be so soulless and without compassion?

This is just sad. People can be very cruel sometimes. I hope they catch them also. I have to wonder what the owners comments would be on the "should you let a cat roam" thread. Both before this and after. I also don't understand why they are rehoming the cat. They know who the owner is.

Status: offline 		They're rehoming the cat because the original owner couldn't afford the extensive vet bills due to the surgery.  So the owner signed the cat over to the RSPCA who could foot the bill and find someone who could afford the rest of the cost.  It's a shame, but it happens.
