This has something to do with Van Jones??? The man who's done more to hurt his race's credibility than gangsta rap?

Does a whole race have a single "credibility" rating?

Nope, just their spokespersons.

Then why say "the race's" credibility in the singular?

For that matter, why bring race into it at all if you're talking about Jones as an individual spokesperson?

Because in the real world people are judged by those who speak (or purport to speak) for them.

As a whole its a dissatisfaction with business as usual with both parties over the years. As I know it's hard to admit for some here, the Tea Party is comprised of a cross section of the political spectrum. I would admit a larger portion come from republican / conservative ranks but many are disaffected democrats and minorities and those who were never politically active before or even ever voted but have finally experienced life enough to see the fallacy of liberal policies.

Perhaps you'll notice that your statement is contradictory.

The Teas aren't particularly astute in their take on government, and certainly not enough to pinpoint any fallacies. They have no real positions on most things, and those they have are naive and impractical (as the GOP has had to explain to Tea freshman in Congress). They are just unhappy, and their awareness of its causes is fuzzy at best, flat out wrong more often than not.

And that complicates solving any of those problems.

I don't see any contradiction.

Let me pinpoint some fallacies....As a result of the democrats and a whole lot of the republicans the US is 14 freakin trillion dollars in debt with the clock still ticking away while inflation looms over us. Social program entitlements are insolvent and need some attention they have not yet received.  Many of our institutions are corrupt with rampant waste and fraud just to name a few. Where is that flat out wrong ? What exactly is naive and impractical ?

You don't see any contradiction? Okie dokie then. Maybe draw circles for each group, see where they intersect...or where they don't....

As for your tag on rant...aside from you not knowing what fallacy means...that's not the part that's flat out wrong. It's the "solutions" that are naive and impractical.

That's not gonna help.
