Wow....gee it seems a Republican Gov, who has passed illegal laws to stop the the New healthcare bill from taking affect in Idaho, is now TAKING CREDIT for part of it.

Talk about flip flopping...now I understand why some people on this site are so confused about this bill.

Yes Sanity....I'm taking a poke at ya...I just found it interesting that even though YOUR governor is out trying to pass laws so it can't be enacted, he is also taking credit for parts of it.   Come on....you have to laugh at this... I mean can someone flip flop more than this governor

http://thinkprogress.org/health/2011/06/30/258334/republican-idaho-governor-takes-credit-for-obamacare-we%E2%80%99ve-been-working-on-that-since-%E2%80%9907/

Claims he has been working on it since 2007..  So YOUR governor has been working on something since 2007, and wants to destroy it and take credit for it......Well...that explains a lot.

ID as a state is insignificant.  ...   one of the top states no one has been to, or plans to visit.

Well if you read beyond the headline, you'll see he's not taking credit for anything in the Obamacare law. What he's doing is saying that two oif the provisions of the law are things that have been in the works in Idaho for a while.

I have no idea if he's lying or not, but its not "taking credit" and not cause for any ridicule. I gather from the article that he's been a supported of those two provisions since long before the new law was even begun.

Your quest for finding partisan cheap shots where none exist makes you look petty. And to be honest renders your opinion pretty much irrelevant in any actual debate.

A great place to visit actually. There are more outdoor recreational opportunities than you can shake a stick at including primitive areas to back pack into and some of the best snow skiing in the world.

  Been there and done that.

What I find most repulsive about the foul Idahoians, is they think that they should be able to en masse build toilets and bathrooms in their public drinking water, as they please.

Filthy bunch of shiteaters them.

I hear you.  :-)

Oddly tho the fed/state OWNS most of the land mass there... so even if people flocked there...   ....................

I would visit there.    I want to get away from the population.     Tho I doubt I would ever leave PA.   I like the state itself.   Well- we are a common wealth actually.

Well this sure sounds like him taking credit for part of it:

“That was one of the first things that came up when we started working on our health care reform and our health care needs in Idaho in ’07. I called a bunch of folks from all aspects of the health care industry together and said, ‘OK, what should health care in Idaho look like?’ The whole idea of insurance exchanges, which is providing insurance packages, providing a certain level of co-pay, providing a certain level of deductible, all of those things. We’ve been working on that since ’07. It was just co-opted into the Obamacare bill.”

It is ALSO part of the Healthcare law he is trying to destroy, which is what I was pointing out, it's OK when it is his idea, and bad when anyone else uses it or takes credit away from him (him being the ID Gov)
