Hey, at least the Saudis now allow women to sell underwear now. I mean, wow, it's such a progressive, forward thinking theocracy!

Maybe they'll stop making the penalty for converting or being homosexual death, and perhaps switch merely to chopping limbs off for those kinds of crimes in our time.

Oh, that's racist, totally and utterly, I mean, there's no connection between the house of Saud and terrorism! None at all! Really, stop looking! All that money they sent to Afganistan was uh, for, umm, stuff that wasn't weapons!

I think we'd be a lot better off if we just stopped giving money to people who for some odd reason take issue with the way we live. I mean really, we respect your right to live in the stone age, and worry about pictures in the paper defileing your male youths, but is it too much to ask to keep our tax dollars from supporting people who insist on living that way?

The west has a Faustian pact with Saudi Arabia. We are really in no position to criticize them because our relationship with them is totally and utterly hypocritical.

In my education, I've found everyone acts with the same double standard everyone else has. The key though is to act shocked with that double standard doesn't go in your favor.
