LMAO........OK....I had a friend of mine spend 6 months living with me, he is a male, as well as a D. Now we were only friends. Shortly after he came to stay I went upstairs to clean the upstairs bathroom, dust, etc..the rest of the house. Normally I only use the downstairs, my bedroom and bat are downstairs, but I do clean up there weekly.

I took him shopping where he discovered Swiffer Wet Jet...he had to have one just for upstairs.

Well, Amazingly, the upstairs was clean, clean like I had done it, I am pretty particular, it passed my inspection, no problem!

He cooked, he was a very good cook, and he cleaned up after himself when he cooked. He even waited on the head of the house, Ms.Princess the Queen of Catdom.

His philosophy was if we both did 100%, then it was DONE, and we had time to just hang out together.

Sighs, he had to go home.......

That's not me, I'm looking for the elusive housework sub

But I don't mind splitting it up some, I don't mind doing laundry or sweeping and mopping, even dusting some, but I don't like doing dishes and it's hard on my back, and I'd rather share the housework if it means we both have more time and energy to fool around later!

To that end, I do try to keep things as low maintenance as possible, I don't really enjoy doing any of that so I tend to knock it out as quickly and efficiently as possible rather than dragging it out - the ladies at the laundromat, when I went there, always marveled at how I could fold so much laundry so fast.

I had some friends where the Dom stayed at home and cooked and cleaned while the two ladies in the household were the breadwinners. But I don't think that's a very common arrangement!

I personally have never met one, nor heard of one. I know quite a few Dommes who do the housework, but no Doms.

In my experience, it's not uncommon for men to become Doms because they like the sound of, shall we say, pre-feminist household arrangements.

As a submissive, there are lots of things I can say are hard limits, I can have all sorts of preferences, but if I say I don't do domestic service, or that I expect a Dom to do 50% of the housework, many will accuse me of not being submissive or not wanting to care for my Dom. I remember having a huge argument about it back in 2001 with my Dom and the people in my chatroom, and being faced with lots of sulky Doms who saw it as part of being a Dom. My own Dom (who was married) said his wife did all the cleaning, but he didn't feel guilty as he had offered to pay for a cleaner.

I freely admit that I have now given up and am sleeping with the enemy. I'm not exactly happy about it, but it's the price I've chosen to pay for having an otherwise happy and successful D/s relationship. Sometimes BDSM is very gender-normative, and I think this is one of those ways.

I enjoy cooking.  Always have and probably always will.  It takes my mind off work when I come home, and I love to experiment.  I also enjoy eating well, and I really enjoy having others to cook for.  But maybe that's just an excuse to drink good beers and wine.

I also dislike clutter.  I'm not a neat freak, but I also don't have dishes on in the sink or stuff everywhere except for a pile of mail.  I do laundry once a week.  I've never found any of this to be a hardship to keep up with.

How much more is there to do?  I sweep the floors occasionally when the pine needles accumulate.  I wipe down the bathroom or shower when it seems like it needs it.  I dust occasionally.  None of this takes more than a few minutes at any time to do.  Not sure what the big deal is.  My house is not super neat, but it's also not a mess either.

The one thing I hate is the litter boxes.  lol.  But that might be too cruel to have a slave do for me.  I don't think I can be that sadistic.  lol.

I nearly puke most of the time I scope the litter box.

Ummm ... did I also mention that Master does the litter boxes?? And cleans up when they've herked up (as I nearly add to it otherwise, although His suggestion that you can't puke if you are smiling does seem to work!). About the only nasty job I get is clipping the dingleberries of poo off the dog when her hair has got them trapped ... but then, He is holding her still so He's not exactly off the hook. Hmmmm, forget Knighthood ... it has to be Sainthood for Him!

Eh, Ive met several of them, they are rather realistic when You arent a live in, when you say I can either clean your house or we can play/fuck/you get a blowjob. Your choice... because between work school and cleaning my own place i only have time for one or the other.

I live by myself and hates all those things. I do them "when the sinks start to smell funky"!! So, if I find a partner, I doubt I will change ;)
