ORIGINAL: 0ldhen Well I am using QR...to avoid offending obviously many....I listened to a few and nope...not for me.... But...I REALLY am an old biker chick...so my taste runs to the Head Bangers Ball, Heavy Metal, some blues, David Alan Cole(his riding stuff not his country stuff) Stevie Ray Vaughn, George Thouroughgood, and, probably due to my age, Dylan, some of the ballads from the 60's and 70's. My fav: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMV7xpq13Ec It is called Panheads forever...and it makes me cry every time. And of course Born to be Wild!!!!! Not loving Mr. Cohen's songs is not offensive in the least. I have only recently discovered the breadth of his work. And it turns out that he wrote so many of my all-time favorite songs that were covered by other artists. So I've actually been loving his stuff without knowing it. I actually prefer his later work, I like his voice better now that he's in his late 70's. In my opinion it's gotten more expressive with age. His earlier work was compared favorably to Dylan & I must agree. I love love love so much of the stuff you list here also. But I just really love music. To each her own.
