I haven't seen anyone start July's yet so I will. I've discovered I'm a switch and have a Domme side to me. I'm just now stretching my wings in the last very few weeks & I'm loving it. I have my first sub now and we are still working the "kinks," lol, out of our new relationship. He's a very nice gentleman and we're coming to an understanding that I'm the Boss in this particular dynamic. I went to the Dollar Store and the thrift shops yesterday and got some very nice pervertible goodies to start filling up my toybag. Also my sub gifted me my first flogger of my own. ~Hisprettybaby~

Oh wow girl, that's so exciting to find a whole new side of yourself! Welcome to the switchy side of life! Enjoy! Here, life goes on, travelling, sightseeing, waiting for good weather sometimes (nearly got blown away in 96kmh winds about 2 weeks ago), and I was away at a conference the past 4 days which went very well, though I realise I'm definitely NOT Johnny 5 wanting more input! My brain feels rather swollen now. However, My own presentation went down well and face-to-face discussions with My supervisor have sorted some misunderstandings that were arising regarding the structure of My thesis so I am feeling all fired up to get back to it now. YAY! Have had coffee meets with 2 local subs, one will be paying a visit tomorrow and the other maybe later in the week before we move on. Jay is looking forward to flexing Her muscles again! I'm being dragged to the water park tomorrow by my mother, ostensibly so the kids can celebrate the 4th of July. I do not handle heat well at all, and I typically burn in 10 minutes or less, so this is a larger undertaking that it sounds. (My sadism is inherited, oh yes it is.) I spent yesterday running around buying things I don't own, like beach towels. I'm positively ecstatic because I found oil-free, fragrance free, PABA free, hypoallergenic SPF 100 sunscreen. I might manage to last an hour. [&:]

It's July, and that means CALIBIRTHDAY!! A week at the beach, floating in the ocean like a white whale--white hat, white long sleeved linen shirt, white skin, lots of sunscreen! I hate putting on sunscreen, so I just cover up. Because I will be in the ocean!! Where the sun reflects back and burns parts you didn't realize were exposed to light! Did I mention THE BEACH, people!!!!! Otherwise, SSDD. Getting the office painted & carpets cleaned, hopefully while I am gone since I cannot be around fumes. I left the lists I moderated on Fet! It felt like taking off a tight bra after a long day.

~FR~ Well, I have an update to my initial post on the July roll call. My submissive just took off. He decided that my initial experience at Domming was not good enough for him. C'est la vie. There's not much I can do about it. So I am once again "looking." ~Hisprettybaby~

July has found Me settled in for My new neck of the woods. I'm still working on the dungeon, but that has more to do with spending an entire weekend at Northern Exposure earlier in the month. Next event coming up in the area is a kinky campout and, even though I don't camp, I'm rather tempted to go. I've promised some folks some fire play pointers and it would be a good opportunity to do that. I have found Myself some folks to play with. One gal who shares My love of needles, so that looks rather promising. There have been a couple of submissive males who might have My attention. (Yes, in this middle of the nowhere world.) Too early to call.

LP... the more I read, the more I think we'll visit if we get around to it before you take off again.. darling dear boi spent many of her formative years in Alaska... and we'd like to go there together... have you been to Chena Hot Springs? If not, I recommend it... June finished out normally.. I think -- I can't even remember oh wait.. I do.. darling dear's leather club, a boy's club -- I am an associate -- they had their anniversary dinner on June 30th and I was honored beyond words with their "boyhood" award. I still feel like a princess a few days later. It was such an honor and a real surprise! This month is vacation, among other things. We take off on Wednesday for an adventure through NM, CO, and AZ -- with stops to see friends, Thunder in the Mountains, and Colorado Ren Fair and long family visit in the middle of all the driving... I'm really not thinking about much else at this point except that we've really madesome attempts at putting our leather back into our lives and we're doing really well -- its been very gratifying and extremely rewarding. hope all are well

June ended with a bit of unpleasant excitement for me: I got evicted. The last few days have been devoted to settling in at my parents' house. My job hunt continues, as does my unicorn hunt. I may have a good lead on a part-time paying gig, which might lead to something full-time later. I'm hopeful. That's about it for me.

First of all,as it turns out, I found he wanted it all his way or no way w/o regard for what I said. Plus, the first time we were out at a function....just day before yesterday, he was flirting w/ another woman....who later told me she was not at all interested in him. Ah, well, as I said before....C'est la vie. I think I have better odds than he does of finding a suitable relationship in the future. ~Hisprettybaby~

My Beloveds and I will be resident in New York City for this month at the least, excepting that I might lease a property upon Long Island for relaxation. I have heard much to recommend it.
