...perhaps one reason the divorce rate is as high as it is that vanilla relationships are less flavorable than one having some form of bdsm

Oh good GAWD... what a stupid assumption.  Yeah, 'cause BDSM fixes everything.  Try noticing how many BDSM based relationships fail before spouting off such nonsense.  [8|]

As an aside, in my experience, the long-term failure rate of BDSM-based relationships is MUCH higher than those of the Vanilla ilk. [:(]

I'd personally find little enjoyment without love.

My thoughts exactly Tristan. Without love, for me, there is no point.

not to all, yes to some...depends on the people and what types of relationships they are looking for.

Sometimes?

I mean, for my relationships it's very important. But I think this one is going to vary quite a bit across the population.

I know other men who don't even seem grasp the love aspect of dating. They see girlfriends as just a "cum depository." Those guys bug me. Not much to do about it beyond playing cock-blocker if their encounter my female friends.

I have another friend who falls in love super easy, and and seems to acquire failed relationships just as easy. His astrological chart says he'll be a good father - go figure.
