I cannot imagine Mexico being able to bring a legal suit against the United States in our own courts regarding the enforcement of our own imigration laws and boarders. In regards to higher concentration of police/military presence prompting mexicans to attempt to cross in more perilous places and increasing deaths, well, i hate to sound cold, but, so be it. There's a lengthy quote from another thread made by a MasterRenegade, i'll simply enclose the link RE: ARE WE BEING HARD ON ILLEGAL ALIENS ? This indeed scared the pants off of me and i think every american citizen needs to make their "We the poeple " voices be heard to enact some changes. I'm not a staunch believer in the "They do the jobs that american won't" but if that be the case then allow the projected amount of immigrants needed to perform these jobs, but perform them legally like americans do. Mandatory citizenship process, or, temporary enforced work visas for seasonal jobs, learning the english language, paying taxes etc etc. One post mentioned our tax based programs,(schools, medical programs) and i'm a little confused that they are allowed to be used with no personal documentation. My children are american born...by american born parents, any time i had to enroll them in a new school, i had to have identification for myself...and for them, birth certificates SS #'s, shot records, I still have one in school and these requirements haven't changed to my knowledge. Is this just something else that is not being enforced?
