Lots of people say "I can't be described by a couple of labels" or some such, but then don't bother to try and explain why - in what way are they too complicated for a short description?
I am a bisexual switch. This is not the whole of who I am, but it applies as far as it goes. I have been with both men and women, and found that I prefer women. I have taken both the Dominant and submissive roles in kink play, and found that I prefer the submissive, for now. I have tasted both sadism and masochism, and not really cared overmuch for either one. As a submissive, I can tolerate *some* masochistic behaviors *if* I feel some level of devotion to the Dominant to whom I am in service, but it's not because I enjoy pain, but rather because the Dominant enjoys it.
Kink play - in whatever form it has taken - has *always* been a sexual act for me. This does not mean that it always involved having sexual relations with whomever I was playing with...but there is simply no way to remove the sexual element from the situation. The act of submission itself is an inherently sexual behavior - as is Dominance.
As for what I am looking for here, I have always enjoyed the idea of a particular type of resistance play involving the seeming removal of choice - true, real helplessness. Regardless of what gets said in our profiles, we *all* know that the sub retains a certain amount of power in any *healthy* D/s relationship - the power to rescind consent. Without the submissive's consent, bD/sm just becomes abuse. That said, my strongest and most enduring fantasies have always centered around the idea of that choice being removed from the dynamic - staged abductions, changing the rules after applying bondage, that sort of thing.
Most recently, my hypnosis fetish has flared up in a big way, and I find myself wishing for the hypnotic equivalent of that sort of resistance play - the behavior changes or post hypnotic compulsion that I am aware of but absolutely cannot resist.
