{{hugs}} It happens. The old saying, 'if you snooze you lose.' Hold true. Act when you first see the person, if not, someone else may swoop down and capture what you had your eyes on. I have seen it happen, heck, I have been told by a few guys that the day they were gonna finally email me, my profile changed to say I was 'not looking' or that I was 'now involved.' Aroudn here, time does make a BIG difference.

Wow.  Being 100% serious...when I started this thread, it never even crossed my mind that anyone wouldn't "get it".  If my tongue had been any further into my cheek, it would have been poking through out my ear.  The only real part was that yes it was a real profile I quoted.  I'm not sure which depresses me more, that such profiles are the rule, not the exception, or that anyone thought it was a serious post.  I need to seriously downgrade my worldview.

I need someone to tie me up and read me Vogon poetry.  It will either kill me or give me a cranial enema.

I knew what you meant and I giggled a bit.  Sometimes certain people get a little snippy when they're not fed properly.  (It's bloody and it involves new members.  You don't want to see it.)  It surprised me how quickly some people jumped your case, though, since this is posted in the random stupidity forum.  Oh well.  On to the Vogon poetry.  At least it's not "Ode to a Small Lump of Green Putty I Found In My Armpit".  That would probably kill you.
