hello all I'm new to CollarMe, I'd like to hand out my warmest greetings to all you fellow Masters and Mistresses, and a cold greeting to all you subs and slaves.  I'm generally an open book and don't mind any conversation, please feel free to drop me a line if you wish.  always open to having more dominant people as friends to chat with and what not... as for you subs and slaves, if you wish to talk, send a message asking for permission to chat and I'll let you know my answer, thanks for all of your time for reading my message and I look forward to making friends and toys,

Hello there, Stag.  You seem to have this idea that there will be dozens of slaves lining up to chat with you and you get to assess their worthiness.

Reality doesn't quite work that way.

One, take the time to turn your photo around, two I have to tell you, there are literally thousands of guys who have taken a photo in their bathroom, take a different one, three, subbies TALK, and a cold hello? Might as well delete your profile and start over.

That all being said, welcome to collarme, where the beer is cold, the women hot, the sarcasm even hotter.

Do yourself a favor, before you suffer anymore footinmouth disease, read the boards, discover how the well loved and respected dominants converse with the s types. Dark Steven would be a good example to begin with.

Don't expect your inbox to be flooded by s types begging permission to speak with you. Get a clue by four, remember until you actually collar some one this applies"You Might Be a D But You Are Not My D"

OMGODDESS! could you be any more obnoxious? a cold greeting to slaves and subs? I could go off on a huge rant&rave right now, but I am afraid I may get ignorant, so here's the condensed G rated version.


First, slaves and subs, contrary to popular belief, are HUMAN BEINGS before being slaves and subs. Second, I am only speaking for myself here, it is unappreciated to be talked down to, especially by someone who hasn't taken the time to get to know me. And besides, I don't usually let people talk down to me as it is. Lastly, welcome to collarme.

The OP's profile says that he is looking only for male subs.

I think there might be a general difference in the way that gay male subs appreciate "cold greetings" compared to how female subs perceive it. I think that male subs, especially gay ones, should speak up about this ASAP and let us know how many of them feel either offended or turned-on by it, and whether they think it's okay.

I think that male subs (gay or otherwise) do spam dominants with letters and do line up by the dozen to talk to them. So the OP could well be very correct in having to shoo them off after assessing them for worthiness to even speak to him, despite how condescending it is. Apparently some previous posters in this thread have a female-centric view of submissives, in light of their responses. Either that, or the OP could have sneaked in and changed his profile right after he posted this, and it didn't used to say that he wanted male subs.

Since you sent a cold greeting to subs and slave, here's an unwelcome to CM.  Good luck bud, you're gonna need it.  Dom/me or submissive slave are people first on these forums.  We treat each other with respect, OK, doesn't always happen but for the most part people here are decent and don't condescend.  Unless you count the goblins who think they're all that and a bag of 'tato chips.  Don't start off as one of them, it'll turn ugly real quick like.  Just some gentle advice that you might consider.
