I wasn't spamming real profiles, I was baiting scammers to help better the site (and I was bored).

*psst* Google 'scambaiting' and check out the first site [;)]

Thank you Wyldhrt, that just made my day so much happier! I now feel, at least somewhat, vindicated by the fact there is an entire community dedicated to doing the same thing I was trying to do here. Now I can just gather data , and feed it on over to them for some fun times.

OMG, I get to fuck with the scammers AND not be blocked on this site again. I can have my cake and eat it too!

I'm surprised my IT friends have failed to mention this to me. Probably an 'oversight on their part'... yes... an 'oversight'.

You're welcome. Trust me when I say that you can inconvenience a scammer much more by baiting them than you ever will by killing their email accounts.

LOL, yes, I'm sure it was. [:D]

Thanks to everyone for their (mostly) intellectually stimulating discussion on this topic. Very good and valid points were raised, testimonials were personally made (rather than 'a friend of mine'), and fun was had by most. Oh, and if you'll take a quick look to the left side of your screen, thanks for helping me melt that vanilla cone, entirely on my terms.
