I am curious to know how a slave feels different when instead of being bound with ropes of cuffs (soft or hard) she is just chained and padlocked.

Chain and I don't get along. It always feels ice cold and sends my temperature plummeting. I start shivering uncontrollably and can't be warmed up. He's tried it in August when it's over 100 and same response.

The other thing is that it doesn't give so if you want to move her, it won't move with her. You have to undo her and fix it so it doesn't cut off circulation. This applies to metal handcuffs. They can cause nerve damage. You better be able to convince me that you know all about how to use them safely. Judging by your name, I'm assuming you're talking about that as well.

In addition, most chain is sold to use on inanimate objects where, if there's a rough spot on a link, the worst that happens is a small scratch in the paint. In people, what happens is more severe. Have you checked over the chain in detail? Filed down any rough spots that might cut?

On the upside, ropes don't make much noise when the sub squirms, whereas chains tend to announce such things. Proper planning can cut down on the need to unlock and move the sub, and from a submissive's point of view, chains are just plain more intimidating than rope.

I don't use restraints with Master, but in previous relationships I've preferred leather cuffs simply because metal restraints chafe my skin and leave nasty marks.

Master doesn't use restraints - i just get to stay wherever the hell he puts me, lol

I agree with myotherself, my master doesnt need to bind me at all. In reply the the OP, in your profile, you say you are married to your slave, why dont you try the two different restraints on her and ask her?

Fema, look at his name. He's a handcuff enthusiast. I'm sure he already knows his wife's response to them. I get the feeling he's hoping we'll all say chain is the awesomest thing to convince her that she does like them after all.

i don't use handcuffs too often on her do to the risks. Our favorate method is leather due to the feel and ease. Once and awhile I do use metal cuffs in front when eating or to the bed for a quickie.

DesFIP.....I did love your reply, I had a good giggle, thanks. You have a good insight into people.

preferscuffs....of course, "due" to risks involved, there is a danger with harsh metal cuffs, they hurt and can harm, that is why leather is a "favorite" with most BDSM'ers. As I stated before, ask your wife what she thinks, I am sure her opinion is the same as nearly everyone elses!
