Very sad for the family especially the son who witnessed this whole thing.  I wish the news channels would STOP replaying the video of the fall out of respect for the family but that would be too humane and not receive high ratings[8|]

Oh fuck that's funny. Quality stupidity. Guaranteed Darwin Award winner, although of course he's already passed on his genes.

Now other fans will doubtless have their views ruined as stadia rush to install larger, moron-proof barriers. That's the real shame here.

normally i like you, but that's a dick thing to say.
seriously.

I disagree.

If you're stood on a high platform, it's commonsense to not go reaching over it to a point where you fall.

This guy was incredibly stupid, and this guy died as a result. Life is about experiencing risks, and learning to deal with them, and make reasonable choices. This guy wasn't sufficiently adept at that, despite having a deal of life experience, and so he's now dead. I’ve made similar, though not fatal, mistakes, before, through over exuberance and adrenaline enthusiasm. I carry several scars as a result. If one of them had killed me, I wouldn’t reasonably expect anyone to blame anyone but me and my idiotic lack of judgement.

As a result of one incapable moron, lots of people are now one car up in traffic tomorrow, and many, many thousands will doubtless have to suffer a reduced view of their favourite sporting events, given the litigious nature of american life.

I call that having a negative impact on life as a whole, as a result of gross personal stupidity.

PS: I also really object to the use of the term "accident" to describe such events; accidents are things that could either not have been foreseen, or could not have been avoided through reasonable reaction. This isn't; it's effectively suicide-by-stupidity.

Yes thanks rule[8|]
I don't see the connection.....article here or video playing every 15 minutes on tv.

Of course you don't.

Let me try and help.

While decrying the television networks reporting the story you are doing the same thing by bringing it to the forums under the guise of denouncing their coverage of it.

The OP was decrying the repeated showings of the video of the man's fall, not the reporting of the story.

Your inability to read and comprehend is your own.

Having enjoyed that same experience many times with my own son, that is such a tragedy. I feel bad for the family, Josh, and the team.

Accidents are also things you (general) don't do on purpose. I'm sure he didn't fall over the railing on purpose so yeah it was an accident.
