When a goddess is trying to choose the right submissive for her, is it more important for her to go with her intuition or is it better for her to do the "practical" thing?

I'm a firm believer in a trinity. Use your head, trust your gut and follow your heart. If all three are in sync, I believe there is a possibility for something wonderful.

I look at mutual compatibility -- not just between myself and him/her but between all the members of my household.

If anything or anyone feels "off" then I don't pursue it. I've learned the hard and hurt-heart way that I have to listen to the negatives.

Until recently, in the head or heart dichotomy, I am one who would fall into the "head" category, precisely because I really do know what I want from a submissive, what I require to make me, and by extension him, happy. It make no sense, and seems like a waste of time for both of us, for to me to encourage someone who is missing an element of what I need, regardless of the reason.

That being said, occasionally forces in the universe converge to remind me that I am not in total control of even myself, lol, and I'm in the process of evaluating a submissive that *I* contacted, even though he doesn't fit my perfect world scenario.

I'm still not understanding it, or me.
