Tain77 -> Greetings from the Emerald Isle (7/10/2011 8:09:53 AM)

Just joined this impressive site a few days ago, still feeling my way around, and felt it only polite to pop into this section and post a hello.

I am relatively new to the scene, having come out so to speak, just before Christmas last by joining a local BDSM group, a few of the usual suspect groups/forums and finally here. I had spent many years in self examination before deciding to do something about my inclinations; after all I was not getting any younger.

Last six months have been very interesting and a tad frustrating at times but after a number of play partner opportunities the years of thought finally becoming reality and confirming 100% that all I had thought I was, I was in reality; a Dom. The journey to my first scene, during it and after it left me feeling finally whole and complete, it was all so natural to me; I was finally Me. In fact afterwards my sub playpartner said "You were born for this." I have developed an interest in flogging, thanks to her and also discovered I am more of a sadist than I thought I was; though I still consider myself to be more of a sensual Dom than an out and out 'De Sade'. However I am only still in the early stages of my journey, so there is lots to try learn and discover yet.

I believe 100% in Safe, Sane and Consensual and the use of safe words.

I love women to look like women, sexy and sensual and imho there is nothing quite as sexy and sensual as a collared woman; love the name of this site CollarMe.

I am here to learn and share if I can and of course I hope to meet my special one who will fill the sub shaped hole I have in my life. If your interested you can read more about me on my profile.

Regards and best wishes Tain77

Thank you for the welcome ashjor911

The avatar is an illustration of Cú Chulainn in battle by Joseph Christian Leyendecker. This is illustrates a story from the Ulster Cycle of Irish mythological stories. The legend/story is called the Táin Bó Cúailnge or The cattle raid of Cooley , which describes a war fought between the kingdom of Ulster and Queen of Connacht Medb (Maive), which started over the theft of a fair number of cattle and a prize bull. Ulster won the battle led by the champion of Ulster Cú Chulainn, leader of the Red Branch Knights.

Thanks for the welcome....

Sadly the emerald in Emerald Isle refers to the colour green (very wet here and the countryside is always lovely and very green) and while I could send you a bag of lovely Irish grass it would have no real value, except maybe as animal feed or as the basis for a nice compost.

Welcome to CM and the boards Tain.  As for Mountain Man asking for a bag of emeralds, go ahead and send him a back of the green, green grass.  He can use it in the wilds of British Columbia where's he's a lumberjack.  Vivid imagination that man I must say. [:D]
