everyone I have ever met has been a genuine person (well, with one or two exceptions.. I think they might have been aliens...). this is not to say that everyone I have ever met has been a good/nice/decent person worth the oxygen they breathe, though... but they've been genuine humans.. (aside from the aforementioned questionables....)

Why do you think it'll be easy? You honestly think after a couple of days on here you should be all sorted out? You know, just because you want something doesn't mean there is someone out there who is just going to give it to you. Geez. If it wasn't somewhat hard we'd all order the partners we wanted out of a catalog. We're talking about human beings, yes, it's a bit hard to find one on the same page at times. Give it some time.

I'm getting really good at disentangling genuine people from artificial ones. If I suspect they are not really people, I repeatedly ask them 'Are you a person?'. If they eventually give in and say 'No, I'm a table lamp. Sorry I tried to trick you' then they're definitely not a person. If they get annoyed and stop talking to you, they are possibly a person but you can never be certain. It's kinda like witch-hunting but nobody dies so it's ok. My best tips are always check for sharp corners and non-flesh-based material in load-bearing sections, those tend to be dead give-aways. Good luck.
