Given that, does it really matter what spin he tries (and fails miserably) to put on them?

Status: offline 		At first I thought John Benefiel sounded like he was talking about the Statue of Liberty being a false idol in a metaphorical sense, that the values it represents are somehow contrary to Christian teaching. It would be interesting if he meant that but it sounds like he meant otherwise in the start of the video clip!
