ArizonaBossMan -> When Mister Hopey and Changey gets in over his head... (7/14/2011 2:40:03 PM)

Registered voters by a significant margin now say they are more likely to vote for the "Republican Party's candidate for president" than for President Barack Obama in the 2012 election.

America's Man/Child in action! Eat your peas! What WERE you thinking when you voted for this half wit? You vote for a PRESIDENT, not a prom king. Geezus.

Rasmussen released a new fantasy?

farglebargle -> RE: When Mister Hopey and Changey gets in over his head... (7/14/2011 2:42:58 PM)

Meanwhile, if they actually NAME a Republican candidate, the ACTUAL Republican Candidate gets the shit beaten out of him by like 10 points...

I wouldn't get too excited.... The poll is something like 47-39% with a margin of error of 4-5%.... and you neglected to including this gem from Gallup as reported by the WSJ:

"... polling this far in advance doesn’t have much predictive ability. And a “generic Republican” won’t be running.  Gallup noted that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, the GOP front-runner, doesn't get particularly high favoribility ratings compared with Mr. Obama, whose re-election is likely to depend on voters' perceptions of the economy."

At the same time this poll was released it has also been noted that should the US default, the public is likely to blame the GOP.

Makes for an interesting scenario, no?

mnottertail -> RE: When Mister Hopey and Changey gets in over his head... (7/14/2011 3:33:54 PM)

that is my perception......................lol, except for interesting.......
I offered a mulligan. *shrugs*

I'm not sure because it was never posted.

As far as I can tell this is just another unsubstantiated rant.

And I'm not going to look up things to verify what other people post.

If they can't take the time to document what they are saying I dismiss it as bullshit.

Owner59 -> RE: When Mister Hopey and Changey gets in over his head (7/14/2011 4:50:11 PM)

More likely to vote for the generic republican.....story`s about a month old.....guess you needed to re-masturbate it.

Only problem is when you insert an actual republican candidate into the pol and President Obama wins.

To bad ya`ll can`t draft a generic person to run,you could get their birth certificate from Hawaii.

The generic republican.

slvemike4u -> RE: When Mister Hopey and Changey gets in over his head (7/14/2011 4:51:21 PM)

I dismiss it as bullshit if ABM....I like to cut out as many unnecessary steps as possible [:)]

imperatrixx -> RE: When Mister Hopey and Changey gets in over his head (7/14/2011 5:30:26 PM)

I love how people think they would vote for the generic Republican but then they actually see the candidates the GOP is running and they back the fuck up.

If there is any more conclusive proof that the GOP is going the wrong way by turning into the Christian Right party, I have yet to see it.

kat321 -> RE: When Mister Hopey and Changey gets in over his head (7/14/2011 5:52:41 PM)

Guys, don't dismiss the poll... It is real, even if he didn't source it (which he should have).  Find it here:  http://www.gallup.com/poll/148487/Republican-Candidate-Extends-Lead-Obama.aspx
