Status: offline 		I would have to say, all of the above.  I keep a variety of floggers
to use for different purposes; the weight, thickness, and materials
are variable.  I like taking the subs/slaves to the edge of their
pain and sensation tolerances.  A Scene filled with fear and terror
is such a nice way to pass the evening....
 
The one kind of floggers I do not like are those cutesy ones
made of bunny fur.  Just not My thing, especially when they
come in powder puff pink or baby blue!

Status: offline 		I am definitely a thudder and love impact play of all kinds. Flogging is one of my favorite forms of play. I love deer and elk for warm ups and cool downs. Some heavy suede ones can be nice. My favorites though are moose, buffalo, bison and bull....and of course mops. The heavier the better and if you can manage to swing a couple of those bad boys at the same time.....even better yet. I love the thud but I really crave for it to have alot of weight. I don't want it to just hit me...I want it to move me. The kind of move that if you weren't well strapped in would send you flying off a cross or bench. I find though, that not too many people have the kind of strength or endurance necessary to create that kind of impact. It's definitely hard work on the Dominant end.

ROFLMBO... ain't that the truth!!!  I've had the same experience...and not only did he not know WHERE to hit, he included some serious wrapping; I thought I was going to loose an eye!  First and only time I cried 'RED'.

Status: offline 		I keep the entire range,from the silly sensual noise makers-to the ones that will shred skin. All depends on the bottom. But I craft my own gear-so I am not as limited as most.

Status: offline 		i had a wonderful experience recently with a flogger made of strips of jersey material - so soft and a lovely warm-up - can you tell i am not into pain?  he then progressed to heavier and harder flogging.  took me to the edge and back - so yummy

My owner has this belt that he has worn almost daily for 12 years. It is made of an extremely thick, and by now, supple leather that is soft to the touch, but has a semi hard core. When he hits my back with it, it is a big thud that sometimes steals my breath.
I like my floggers to feel like that. We only have two, since we don't do flogging often, but they are a matched set of buffalo hide that are as thick as his belt and about the same width. Probably about 25 falls. These things are huge, and when he uses them, he normally lays me down on a table, and swings them back over his shoulder and then onto my body. They are ok for standing up on a cross scenes, but when they are combined with me in a vertical position, they really pack a wallop.

Status: offline 		One of the most awesome floggers ever was one made with thin sheets of latex or rubber that was cut into 1/2 inch wide falls and rolled up. OMG it felt wonderful...

Status: offline 		With us having been poor for so very long, I'd have to say our favorites are the ones that we've made ourselves.  I think we have one that we bought somewhere, but we almost never use it.  We much prefer the 6 or so that I've made and the 1 or 2 that rob made.

Yah well shh dont tell Him but i kind of like it, my favorite flogger would have to be the 100 fall heavy leather one there is such a thud that it nocks me into sub space fast and very deep but i love all floggers from the chain, rubber and chain, leather and chain to the heavy leather ones. Floggers are about the only toy i never change my reaction to when playing.

Status: offline 		I have never been spanked with a flogger. I have been spanked with almost every other item..smiles... I was whipped about a week ago with a club, deep thudding and I did not like that. The Dom I am involved with has experimented some with me and thudding implements (like clubs and practice swords made from cane), to wooden spoons and clothes hangers... I am a sting lover, it makes me giggle when it stings badly, and the more it hurts the more I laugh. He gets new tools with each sub, so we are going to go shopping for toys soon, he thinks I will adore a rubber flogger.. does anyone know about those?

Status: offline 		The favourite flogger I make is one with 1/2" x 2' (aprox) rubber tails made from bicycle tubes.... Stings like hell according to all the feed back I've got from those who have experienced it.. Can be used back, botom, thighs (front, back and inner) pussy and bare breasts.. No dammage just lots pf pain.....

give me a good warming up and I can handle just about anything...LOL... but in the end my favorite flogger sensation is THUDDY...guaranteed to send me into subspace fairly quickly...which is interesting cause the only other way that will send me in to space is using a wickedly curved small thin knife that a Dominant friend of ours has...a few scratches from that..and I am gone...orbiting alpha centauri and beyond...LOL

Status: offline 		I bruise very easily, and while there is something to having one's bruises tortured endlessly (WEG), there is something to having no marks and all the blood rushing to the skin. I like bruises, but they tend to limit play somewhat for us. I guess that is another good reason to get a rubber flogger...(I am giggling just thinking about it).
