It is possible. He thinks that all plants in the summertime are snack bushes. Usually he just gaks though if it is something he shouldn't have eaten. I know that there is a plant/weed that grows around this area that some kids have used as a hallucinogen or some such (Moon Flowers, I think). There is a chance that there is some growing and he took a mouthful of it.
Or it could just be that he as occasional seizures.
