~Sigh~ I typically avoid discussions like this because of all the "ew" "sick" "disgusting" "most are _____" remarks. It's just frustrating. Here's my scoop. My Owner and Master is my Daddy. My understanding of many Daddy/babygirl relationships is that the foundation has NOTHING to do with incest fantasies, and EVERYTHING to do with the type of emotional connection. Daddy is strong, protective, nurturing, adoring, and someone you can always run to for help. In that sense, I feel the Daddy connection is at the cornerstone of many d/s relationships. Here's where this argument gets fuzzy for me. The debate always seems to be whether there's an incest angle or not, with the implication being that the presence of one makes the practice sick and wrong, and the absence good and wholesome. That strikes me as irrelevant. If this was something going on between ACTUAL little girls and their ACTUAL fathers, it would be completely valid to hold forth on that issue. However, since it's happening between grown women and their grown partners, how is it relevant if there is or is not a incestuous undertone? Frankly I wouldn't consider it amoral for a grown woman and her grown father to sleep together as long as they didn't have kids. Anything which harms no one but the mature, informed participants is irrelevant to my world view, especially when it's only roleplay to begin with.

FR~~ I guess I don't get up to this part of the boards enough anymore, because I didn't know that there is a discussion like this every couple of months.
