Yeah, the Kurdish problem, as I said from the way prior to the invasion of Iraq is going to haunt the fuck out of us, and it is more ineptitude of the Bush administration ruining this country.   I hope they learned their lesson, and that this goes no further, because Turkey is a NATO ally and I really dont think we need a beef with them.  (do you understand that about Turkey and the Kurds, which is going to be a massive problem if this escalates?)

Because I really don't have the energy for that today.

You think Limbaugh is not a good source of information?  Those who have listened to Limbaugh, Batchelor, Levin for years know the track records of these men.

Limbaugh is the grand panjandrom of the guysers of stupidity:

Kicking a can down the road?

Yes, good example.

A one-year reduction in the social security tax is now, exactly as I called it at the time, going to be flagged as "a tax increase" at the end, ignoring it's an additional tax cut if extended.

Yup. That's kicking a can down the road.

By the way, an unspecified "economist" doesn't do it for me. Real economists go on the record.

Where do you see it being called an increase?

Where do you see it being called an increase?

I quoted his post. What's the confusion?

The confusion is that it doesnt say who is calling it that. Your "call" is correct only if someone with actual relevance flags it as a tax increase, not some unnamed non-official.
Eg what some idiot liberal blogger says on DailyKos cant be used to justify a prediction about the DNC or Obama.

Which I ALSO said in my reply to him....an unspecified "economist" doesn't do it for me.

mnottertail -> RE: Poll: 71% shun GOP handling of debt crisis (7/19/2011 3:27:51 PM)

except the unnamed idiot was on rush.

Some will notice that this thread is now considerably shorter. Is everyone, I hope, done with the hijacking, name calling and personal attacks now?
Good.

Then why claim your call was correct?

Sigh.

It's a response to locked's post, where that's exactly what the dude said.

I can read. So should you.

That's all the time I'm wasting on this.
