Hi. Just wondering if there is a difference between a slave, sub and bottom. Thanks.

We've have many discussions about this topic and I am sure, if you do a search you will find many of them.

For ME, there is a very definitely difference and I've no interest at all in one, only slight in another, and a great deal in the third.

Yes.  We have tons of threads on this subject on a regular basis. 

My personal definitions are as follows:

Bottom - The person who receives an activity during a scene or play. 

Submissive - A person who submits to a Dominant under agreed terms of authority.

Slave - A person who is owned by a Master/Mistress.

There are many differences, for most people. However, to know what the differences are, you have to ask the people who you are interested in getting to know, what their definition is. Or, at least, decide on your own definition and explain it to people.

If someone wants a sub, they may want what the next profile over calls a bottom, or, they may want what I'd call a slave.

What do you want to be? And, how do you think that goes? That's what's important, for your own benefit.

Well, Duh! A slave is a person owned as chattel, a sub is a boat that goes underwater, and a bottom? Well a bottom is one of these...
