Prove it wilbur. Are you saying they're liberal because they're black?

No, Im saying that there is an extremely low probability (easily less than 5%) that the majority voted for Obama unless there is some reason to believe they arent representative of all blacks. Now if you want to argue that voting for Obama doesnt mean they are liberal, you might have an argument, but Id bet that youd lose that argument.

No, I'm saying that people that vote for McCain as this county did are not liberal.
Im saying that a town that had a ZERO crime rate in '07 is probably pretty conservative.
You lump all people of one color into one group. Different communities are different no matter what color they are. This one appears to be uneducated but conservative based on the high percentage of those who never finished HS and the low crime rate.
At least noone can claim they were 'liberalized' in college.

You are saying those things now, you didnt before. But regarding these:

County is not the same as the city, which is the topic of the thread.
They had far from a "Zero" crime rate in 2005, it was higher than the national average. (Pretty unsual for a small town to begin with).

So why are you cherrypicking data that you think supports your argument?

Could it be youre a KenDoll school of misleading posts graduate?

We often hear from some that small, local government is always better than large, federal government.

This news story would seem to prove the opposite.

Oh? Even given your ridiculously low standard for "proof", what is worse about Gould government than large government in the first place.

Local government is more representative of the populace

If the dickweeds in Gould want to elect leftist jerks then thats what they deserve

Still, its better as it more closely resembles the people it represents

And why the House is more representative of its constituents than the Senate. In fact I just got an email from my local Rep. regarding support for Cut Cap and Baalnce

I picked the latest year available as in the most recent data.

Average 05 and 07 and you're still under the natl average which is pretty typical for small towns.

Why do you say theyre leftist? I have found nothing to indicate that. All I have seen is evidence to indicate they are ignorant and uneducated.

Hardly representative, there isn't a poll you can show me that the representative portion of Americans wants this can kicked down the road 5 years.

given that the former mayor is a Democrat with enough liberal cred to be elected Governor with 55% of the vote, given that his successor is a Dem, and given that the Council member who is pushing the bill is being lambasted on conservative blogs and the TeaParty is being entreated to run against her, Ive got a feeling he's exactly right.
