Sounds like you got your head screwed on the right way, seriously, I've seen some disastrous marriages (one of them camping out in one of the guest rooms every weekend) because the guys were in a kink frenzy and thought they better marry her before somebody else snatches her up... It seems to be as bad as thinking you can get rid of your kink and go vanilla... Results seem to be equally disastrous

This is what a good, and wise Domme friend of mine says, on her blog

There's something of the teen years feverishness about it all. Females suddenly become powerfully-magical creatures all over again. I'd say, don't let that take you over, if you do indeed get it.

It's taken me frigging years to work it out, but the ones who hit it off best with the opposite sex are the ones who can be friends with them. That applies in D/s, just as it does in vanilla.

Then focus on that in your profile. List a wide range of interests and look for somebody with whom you share some of those interests. My first thought when I read your profile is that I want to know more about your "dabble in music and acting". In what way? What exactly does the word "dabble" mean to you?

As for your user name, although I love Latin, calling yourself a 'crow' is not complimentary: smart, but parasite-riddled screaming scavengers: ew. It's also a bad emo movie series.

I generally don't use the word 'real' because that's very subjective and well, vague. Instead, elaborate and describe what 'real' means to you. Several of the male subs on here are adored by the group. See who they are and read what they write. Observe how they interact, and you'll see it's not really a mystery.

Re: being overwhelmed by the magical quality of the FemDom. Remember, (probably) you are just looking for one person, not a whole team. Meet people, and be open to who the Universe brings into your life.
