totally confused, not that that is abnormal for me but its even worse on this one...

God, I was beginning to think that it was just me, as a male, reading another male's question that was too complex or too early in the day or something.

Thanks, Tigresse.

SO what is the issue with girls?  Being parents what do women want to see in a guy that is of worth to court their daughter in front of the family.  I find that so many people engage in sex and poly life style but the omni potent value of their lives seem to be so fragile that men are falling apart all around them?  So what is the basic value of life and courtship and what do women want to see in a man.  Women have the coorect right attitude to indulge in themselves without even courting men, that much I know.  So what is the value of man?

Thank you for clarifying this most mystifying of all threads, Loki Dei, Master and Guru of the new millenium. We are all greatly enlightened  by your infinite wisdom.
I am honored to be in training with you. You are not only an inspiration to me, but have also educated the OP who first confused so many of us.

You certainly get an A+ in the sucking up department. (God I wish there were more like you around.)

Cannot resist attempting to reword this.

So what is the issue with girls?  (Too vague.)

Being parents what do women want to see in a guy that is of worth to court their daughter in front of the family?

(Giving this one a shot:  what do mothers hope for in their daughter's choice of male partners?)

I find that some many people engage in sex and poly life style but the omni potent value of their lives seem to be so fragile that men are falling apart around them.

(Honestly, no clue.)

So what is the basic value of life and courtship and what do women want to see in a man?

(Vague; cannot tell if this is still directed at mothers or at women who choose male partners.)

Women have the correct value to indulge in themselves without even courting men, this much i know.

(i think the Op believes sexual orientation is a choice, and all women can be lesbians.  But again, not sure.)

So what is the value of men?

(Seems to be off-point; what has this to do with mothers' hopes for daughters?)

After all that work; still as confused as Arpig.

SO what is the issue with girls?

I take this to mean that the OP has his/her own issues with the way that females create their relationships.  Or their could be a relationship that ended. . . or a lack of finding a relationship.

Usually mothers would like to see their daughters happy.

I find that so many people engage in sex and poly life style but the omni potent value of their lives seem to be so fragile that men are falling apart all around them?

The all-powerful force and authority in these females lives is fragile?  I think that this is an incorrect word choice.
Perhaps the OP is asking, "Why do females make their primary life goal that of having (being in) a relationship?" combined with "This single-mindedness seems to me to create relationships that are not ideal between partners."
Now, if that is the question/point. . . I would answer that it has to do with all the movies, books, magazines, and other mediums that overwhelmingly show that females can only be fulfilled as adult humans if they HAVE or are IN a relationship.

So what is the basic value of life and courtship and what do women want to see in a man.

The value of life is different for each individual.
The value of courtship is dependant on the cultural society and its mores that an individual lives in.
The question, "What do women want. . ." trivializes females and their wants, desires, and needs.
quote:

Women have the coorect right attitude to indulge in themselves without even courting men, that much I know.

Indulge themselves in what?  And by the way. . . gee thanks for realizing that.  Perhaps one day, females will be on par with men.
quote:

So what is the value of man?

How can I solve for the value of Y without an equation?

Although I think that the answer might be the square root of negative one.

Or another way to look at it is that all of componants used to make up a human body can be bought with a child's allowance. . . at least according to Full Metal Alchemist.

Have a loverly day

Best,

LaMalinche

I'm guessing someone was trying deep thinking while on something not legally sold at the local drug store.

I expect anyone courting my daughter to be polite yet confident, impeccably groomed yet capable of getting his hands dirty, and slavishly obedient to her every whim.

If the oppose question is posed, does it trivialize a man's wants, desires and needs?  Serious, honest question.
