My take on the OP (and yes I actually still don't 'get' it) is that maybe the writer has had bad experiences with women and is trying to find answers so that he can understand what motivates women .... Odin, I am a woman and I still confuse myself!!!! Just guessing here and I may be totally off the mark but maybe the writer has found that he isn't what some women are looking for and doesn't understand why? Or is trying too hard, or maybe not being realistic about what he has to offer as a person (not talking about belongings, more about personality, self-awareness etc) wanders
