I have been reading the posts often and noticed a few people constantly dropping there thoughts into the posts. How can we tell who have the right answers? Most of the time I think of them as comic relief because they make me laugh. No one is an expert in the field of BDSM so why are there so many that think they are? One guy writes a lot of books about BDSM, does that make him an expert or only pervert with a keyboard? Either way its still fun to read them and chuckle.

Between this and the last post you just made, I have to wonder.....just exactly what are your motivations? Is there some personal axe to grind with him or are you intentionally trying to discredit him for some reason? Either way, seeing as you have less than 10 posts here, I don't think your approach will be well received.

Did you ever stop to think that far from believing they are experts, they simply speak from personal experience or offer an opinion? In my observations here and offline the only ones who claim to know it all are the ones who know nothing in this lifestyle. The one you refer to has never claimed to know it all. I too have to wonder at your motivation for starting this thread. It's suspicious to me.

Hmmm..... People dropping their thoughts in posts, well i'll be, you mean when somebody starts a thread asking for advice or opinions we are not supposed to answer them? Did i miss a meeting?

Why are you posting your thoughts here?

There are many who do have 20  to 40 years of experience in bdsm, how long do you think you need to do it to be an expert?

As to your oblique reference to Mr.Warren; While i do not always agree with him, though often i do, he has many years of verifiable years in the lifestyle and is a highly respected member of the bdsm community.

What do you bring to the table?

One of the things about an unprovoked online attack is that it tells volumes about the writer but very little about the person being attacked.

John Warren,

I happen to enjoy your posts and have agreed and quoted several as well, so whatever this douchebag's problem is I wouldnt take it much to heart. There are several of us who are quite happy to gain some insight from you in your posts. Its most often the ignorant who attack someone else because of their understanding versus the thrown in "online cyber guru". I for one am thankful to see your posts here, keep up the good works.

You are right, and all this one's posts say VOLUMES about him/her. The only thing I am wondering is why this poster cannnot use their regular account, because logically it makes sense that someone this bitter would have many more posts than this ID does... Which leads me to think they are not only a very small minded and bitter individual, but a cowardly one to boot... But that is just my opinion, and I could be wrong,... Yadda Yadda Yadda (and I am letting my brain droppings out in this post...lol)

Very very true. I wonder frequently if the ones who post the attacks ever stop to consider how it makes them look versus the one they attack?

The Right Answers!!!  YESSSS!!  We need a thread for Right Answers.  Let's see, hmmmm, who could we get to give out the right answers?  Umm, I'm guessing that you are looking for "The Person That Invented BDSM and Made Up All The Rules"?  Well, ok, listen closely and don't tell anyone that I told you this but...*whispers to DarkDesireNumbNuts* there isn't one.  Nope, there isn't one person, committee, or even governing body that came up with BDSM.  No one knows what the Right Answers are.

What we are lucky enough to have here on CM are a whole bunch of people that have been doing it for a whole lot of years, and a whole bunch of people who are new to BDSM and have some fresh new ideas, and then there's all those people that have been around a little while and have done some fun things.  And all of those people old, not so old and new all come here and talk about what they did and do, how they did and do it, and if we are lucky, they will tell us how they felt/feel about it too.  And if we are really lucky they will tell us what they would do next time to make it better.  Or give us some advice on something we are about to do but aren't sure just how to do it or what would be the best way.

One of those people, who is also one of the most respected people in the lifestyle and in my limited experience is also one of the most willing to share his knowledge with genuine people, you seem to want to attack.  If your intention was to show all of us what a complete ass you are, that was a surefire way to do it.  Way to go!!!
