I don't think it's so much that if a person likes feet that he's a fetishist. My line of thinking is that it runs on a scale. That goes from everything to liking feet to the actual definition of fetish. That latter term tends to get misused quite a bit in the first place, so that may have something to do with it. The other part, I believe, has something to do with specific parts of the body that have a greater acceptance as the norm to be considered erotic. In your other examples above, most folk don't bat an eye thinking those specific examples of the body are sexy. When it comes to feet, however, we're talking about a much smaller percent of the population and even a subject that's been studied as abnormal psychology.

Foot guys are really obsessed. I don't mean that in a pejorative way at all, just that FEET are the be all for foot guys. One of my pals was telling me about an outdoor concert he went to (metal) and he was just rhapsodizing about a gal in flip flops who had silver toe rings and each toenail painted a different color. She may or may not have had a face. I have never met a boob guy obsess over breasts to the exclusion of all else to do with the woman.

Most men could get off on a picture of smooth legs with no woman attached to them. It's actually the most common sexual fetish in our culture. Personally, I think all the things you listed are sexual fetishes; a fetishistic object is something that substitutes for a bigger whole. Some fetishes are simply so common that no one questions their origins. That said, fetishes aren't bad unless they are disrupting the person's functionning by being too intense or inappropriate.
