Hello all

Looking for some advice on how to start meeting people on this site- chat and cam chat seems to be a whirlwind of mania and im not exactly sure how to seek people out, introduce myself, etc?

You live in NYC. Why not meet people in munches and groups there?

Welcome to the boards. Well, you've introduced yourself, now go forth and lurk or participate. Read older and newer threads to get a feel for the place. And yes, by all means, as Steven suggested get out to munches and events, it's NYC after all. Google is your friend.

Do what I did, just stroll the boards, answer whatever cmail seems interesting, etc. I'm shy and have some social phobia issues, but it is working for me...
