Liam Neeson, woof.   I was hooked on him after seeing Rob Roy.

For children watching that film, I agree it must have been disturbing to some, but for a 16 year old, quite innocent and naive girl at the time, it was pretty great. ;)

A trip down memory lane for Big Happy!

I'm not sanguine on the outcome of me even weighing in on this, but ...

It's not just that I watch a movie on TCM 3-6 times a year, and even a few others wherever else, but that I hardly ever watch the tube or indulge in the cinema otherwise (not at all in a solid 8 year stretch; no TV, 2 movies, not long ago), or just don't have much use for movies generally in this same time. Marie Windsor and Ida Lupino are the only ones that retain, though Leslie Caron regularly crushed my face with her legs with out her even being aware of it. Trained dancers are that way.

I am far beyond the 'crush' stage, but Meryl Streep crushed everybody on the set in Back to Africa and a few others. That's hot. (apologies to Paris Hilton in stealing from her famous T-shirt but changing to correct grammar).

Inara George is inventive and useful, by her solo records or otherwise with her partner Greg Kurstin with The Bird and Bee.

Much appreciation, but no crush on anybody, sorry to disappoint.

After working in live shows of every sort and some bit of studio work for over 25 years, the relatively 'cut and paste' nature of movie making or most any recorded visual entertainment endeavour is just instant nap time for me, sorry if I neglected to mention that.

Well, until you've witnessed the magic and artistry of "Dodgeball", you really can't talk, can you?

Now I think about this more, I forgot to mention Geena Davis, at least three of Doctor Who's sidekicks*, Patricia Morrison, Janet Gardner (out of Vixen), Nancy Wilson, Joan Jett, Eliza Carthy, "Avt" out of Sharkboy, Mariah Whittaker and Eve Ellis...
Then there's the astonishing Louise Brooks, who strangely nobody else seems to have mentioned.

*(Not Matthew Waterhouse or Bonnie Langford, obviously)

I've actually seen that one, one of the "other 2 or 3 per year" I tripped over. Family visits are useful in getting caught up to things there. Fun movie, even if Marie Windsor wasn't in it.

Don't we wish we could sit in front of congress and throw wrenches at them like Rip Torn did at the dodgeball players in that movie?

"If you can dodge a wrench, you can pass a damn debt bill and shut up! Any other questions?"

Oooh, thanks for that. Though I'm that sad that I don't need a picture to remind me, as I have both the smaller and larger figures of him. :-p You can tell that outfit had quite an impact on me at that age, can't you?

You're very welcome! Jareth must have had quite an impact to have the figurines. I wonder do they have the authentic bulge. BTW I get the feeling poor old Moonhead will be sporting big hair and some very close fitting tights in the not too distant future!
