The terms "dominant," "goddess," "mistress," "top," etc. are pretty much used interchangeably. People will give you slightly different definitions of some of those terms, but practically -- even if those slight differences are technically correct -- few people know or care about the differences. In BDSM stuff, I find it's best to not worry about the semantics and focus on the content of what someone is telling you.
