Hi there CM'ers. I have had a profile on the site for a while but have not exactly been active.

I'm coming to the conclusion that I may be looking for a long term relationship at this point. I no longer desire to have a vanilla relationship with submissive desires that I keep hidden and think of as deviant. Life would just be so much better with someone I trust enough to have it all out in the open.

Any thoughts on meeting someone or transitioning into my first BDSM relationship would be welcome.

Oh, and I would love to make new friends while I'm at it.

I am 30 and I live in midtown Manhattan.

It's a shame you aren't saying hello from the Top Chef Kitchen,
or I'd have asked you to hug Tom Colicchio for me.
Welcome, and best of luck in finding that special someone.

Welcome!

Midtown Manhattan...lucky boy, you have lots of choices.

Just a couple links to get you started. I would also check out local events for NYC on FetLife.

This link might help in regards to writing a profile (yeah, you need to fill yours out and please lose the cock shots...unless you want to be known as just another dick) and meeting women here... http://www.collarchat.com/fb.asp?m=1717756

Be sure to also check out the FAQs thread in the Ask A Mistress board.

Good luck and have fun.

That skyline at night is a nice background. Welcome to CM.

Welcome to the boards.  Please consider the advice from BonesFromAsh.  And yes, if possible, get thee to a munch.  Plenty of people to meet who live this every day and can help you find your way.  Older and newer threads are also a good idea to read to get a feel for the place here.  Good luck in your search.

Thanks for the welcomes and the advice. It has been taken to heart.

Also, the name Clinton never stuck for this neighborhood. It will always be Hell's Kitchen to those that live here.
