Except those occasional little gaffes when the head of the network panders to Republicans.

NJ gov. Christie sued over communication with Fox News head

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was sued Monday over his administration's refusal to release correspondence between the president of Fox News and the governor or his staff after a report that the head of the network tried to persuade the first-term GOP governor to run for president in 2012 last summer.

Fox News President Roger Ailes has denied urging Christie to run for president. But speculation continues over whether Christie would jump into the race, even though he has repeatedly said he will not.

The American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey filed suit Monday on behalf of John Cook, a reporter for Gawker Entertainment LLC, who sought the information under state's Open Public Records Law.

The governor's office initially refused to confirm any records existed and said that, if they did, they would be exempt from state's open records law based on "executive privilege" as a reason to withhold records from the public. Executive privilege is intended to protect the governor and other elected officials from disclosing records that contain advice to them about their official public duties.

In other words, somebody trying to convince a sitting governor to run for the White House is all of a sudden an "official duty" of the governor?

I`ve heard from people who work in Trenton that he is planning to run for POTUS.Executive privilege is not going to cover those activities.

If true,it won`t look good.Like we`re a stepping stone.

The day of the state helocopter gaff(another major goof) he was meeting with a group of out-of-state doctors who want him to run. That can`t be official state business either.

Apparently, according to the Governor's office.

The far lefts obsession with controlling every aspect of media and news and information is not a healthy one, nor does it signal a willingness to abide by Democratic principles on their part.

Fucking christie is a jelly donut away from a huge grabber. Would be a funny thing. Instead of seeing a president jogging to stay healthy we'd see fatass running to the buffet line for more bacon...

Are you kidding? The economy is a mess because of deep rooted issues that will never be fixed in the current climate of partisan bickering. It's easier to sacrifice a cute little lamb like Bachmann who will make speeches pretty enough to get some GOP congressmen elected, then it is to try to step up and shoulder the responsibility themselves.

So you think complying with the law does not abide by Democratic principles?

You can't say things like that anymore,

It offends fatasses like Limbaugh who are going to accuse you of being a bigot toward fatasses.

At least he stopped quoting people's posts which he had edited to change what they said. Of course I believe that was because the mods insisted.

So this partisan bickering is causing the problem?

Am I the only one who sees the irony?

So Christie is a far leftist now?

He would be the one trying to control the media by dodging the states open records law.

Could you find another act please.  This one has become way too predictable and boring.
