I admit that I JUST NOW LEARNED that July is NATIONAL ICE CREAM MONTH!!!!!

How did I not know this???

Fortunately, I have been celebrating quite fabulously[:D].

My favourite flavours are......chocolate with peanut butter swirls, Moosetracks and NOW they have CHOCOLATE Moosetracks.....omg omg omg good.

What are your favourite flavours?

HURRY...........counting today, only 6 days left!

For me it's not so much the flavours as the quality ... there's a place on the Isle Of Man that I stake out every time I go over for the TT or MGP ... they do 30 or 40 flavours but it's the gorgeous local milk & cream that make it the best ice cream I've ever had outside Italy ... I'd rather have their "plain" vanilla than anything anyone else makes.

They also do a banoffee and a mint chocolate chip that are just to die for.

I really fancy one now!

Of the commercially available stuff, that Ben & Jerrys with the cookie dough is rather nice.

Which reminds me - I must buy an ice cream maker ... been meaning to for ages, since trying a mate's home-made Baileys ice cream :)

Haagen Dazs has a Dulce du Leche that is DIVINE

Edy's has a strawberry shortcake that is just shy of orgasmic (but not by much, I tell ya!)

My current favorites are from Blue Bell Ice Cream.

Southern Hospitality - Homemade Vanilla with chunks of pineapples,
roasted pecans and a strawberry sauce swirl.

Coconut Fudge - coconut ice cream with delicate flakes of coconut and
a rich chocolate fudge sauce swirl.

Lip smacking mmmm mmmmmm goooodness!

A friend makes his own and is dropping off a pint-anna-half of raspberry vanilla.  I gave him the raspberries AND the cream a week or two ago.  Raspberries?  I think a month or two ago (whenever they were in season) and he froze them.  Got a "deal" on the cream recently, so...... he does work and I get ice cream.

What a fuckin' lazy top you are, Lance!

Okay, at one time he was one of my boys.......

WHAT????? And July is almost over! We got some makin' up to do!!! [:D]

I've been keeping Heath Klondike Bars in the freezer all summer, but I also love Butter Pecan, Maple Walnut, French Vanilla, & Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. With or without about a gallon of Hershey syrup on top.

I don't know the B & J-type mixtures, but anything with stuff like brownies, pecans, toffee, caramel, coconut, butterscotch and the like is a big nom-nom-nom for me. [:)]

... sigh... does that include soy ice cream??? I dont eat cream ice cream, only soy..

My blueberry soy yogurt froze on me the other day... does that count?

When i get a chance, i want to try to make my own soy ice cream cuz i think it could be home made healthier.. oh,.. and my own soy yogurt too... [:)]

I work at a Farmer's market on Saturdays.  Homemade /  handmade ice cream from Coconut milk, of all things.  Lactose free and GREAT taste!

I agree their new Coconut Fudge is made of awesome, so is their Banana Split

I have a nice homemade ice cream I do that it is a chocolate banoffee and the of course homemade peach

I love too many flavors to list, but my favorite ice cream treat is a hot fudge sundae from Dairy Queen, especially when the hot fudge is still hot!
Seriously, when I get a good one, it's like an orgasm in my mouth [:)]

I love "Everything but the"..... It's a Ben and Jerry's flavor that has a touch of everything mixed in.
